Winter hike from Lake Carezza to Obereggen via the path "Templweg"
This picturesque winter hike begins at the famous Lake Carezza (Karer See | Lago di Carezza), whose deeply snow-covered shores exude a special sense of tranquility. From here, you follow the so-called Templweg. The Templweg is loved by hikers looking for a peaceful walk in contact with nature. The well-prepared path leads through quiet winter landscapes, dense forests, and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding Dolomite peaks. Following the path further, you eventually reach Obereggen, a well-known winter sports resort, perfect for a well-deserved break or to continue the tour. The hike follows pleasantly walkable trails and is suitable for all experience levels.
Starting from Lake Carezza (Karer See | Lago di Carezza), this winter hike leads via the Templweg path [8] through the Latemar forest until the Bewallerhof hotel. From here continue on path [9] to Obereggen.
The return back to the starting point at Lake Carezza is possible along the same route. Alternatively, you can also take bus line 184 with change to 180.
