Winter hike from the Paolina parking lot to the Karer See

The start is at the Paolina parking lot behind the ski pass office. From there, follow path [6] down to the St. Josef church, turn right and walk along König-Laurin-Straße to the playground. In front of the Kupferkanne restaurant, turn left and follow the winter hiking trail to Schönblickstraße. Then, following the signs for the Karer See hiking trail [6], cross the suspension bridge to the Karer See parking lot and continue through the underpass to the lake.

The starting point of the route is easily and conveniently accessible by public transport.

- 184 from Weissenstein, Petersberg, Deutschnofen, Stenk with transfer to 180 (or: 181 and transfer to 180)

- 186 from St. Zyprian, Nigerpass
- 187 from Steinegg, Gummer with transfer to 180 (or: 182 and transfer to 180)
