From Ritten|Renon to the Sarntal|Val Sarentino
Departure at 9 am by hiking bus from Steinegg|Collepietra to "Pemmern", then take the Ritten|Renon Horn cable car. Passing the hut Felturnerhütte, we hike via the hut Tramisalm along the trail "Hornweg" to the "Gasteiger Sattl". Staying on the trail "Hufeisentour" and E10, we climb up to the "Rittner Bildstöckl" and take the direct path (16a) down to the lake "Totensee". A few more great photos and we’re off again to the chapel "Toten Kirchl", where we descend to the hut Pfroderalm. Well fortified, we head down the "Totenrücken" into the Sarntal|Val Sarentino. A secluded path leads us to Reinswald and the hiking bus.
Walking time 5 hrs – Ascent 450 m – Descent 950 m – Route length 16 km

-A certain level of basic fitness and sure-footedness are required

-Meeting point: various bus stops along the route
-Participation is FREE for guests staying at our member establishments in the Eggental valley and for local residents of the Eggental valley with a Locals Card
Otherwise, adults pay €10 and juniors (aged 6 to 13) €5
Guided walks will be cancelled in the event of bad weather. The programme is also subject to change at short notice.
