Farm hike in Welschnofen | Nova Levante

This circular hike begins at the church square in Welschnofen | Nova Levante. The route follows trail [5] up to the pilgrimage chapel of Lengeria and continues to the Wolfsgrube (Wolf's Pit). There, turn right onto trail [1] towards Schiller Hof farm (permanently closed), then follow trail [4A] to Hagner Alm and trail [4B] to the Jocher farm. The return to Welschnofen | Nova Levante follows trails [15A] and [15], and finally trail [5] back to the church square. Alternatively, you can take a shorter route from Hagner Alm hut by following path [4A] and then path [15] and [5] back to the starting point.

Alternative option: An alternative starting point is the valley station of the cable car in Welschnofen | Nova Levante. From there, take the gondola up to the Frommer Alm hut and follow path [1A] to the Nigerpass | Passo Nigra. From there, continue along the forest road [1] and then path [4A] to the Hagner Alm hut. For the return, you have two options: Via path [4A] directly to Welschnofen | Nova Levante (Duration: approx. 3.5 h; Ascent: 37 m; Distance: 12.5 km) or via path [1] to the Wolf's Pit and then path [5] back to the church square (Duration: approx. 3 h; Ascent: 36 m; Distance: 11 km).
