Christmas market in Pietralba
The Christmas market at the pilgrimage site of Maria Weißenstein combines a traditional atmosphere with local crafts and culinary specialities. Set against the picturesque backdrop of the sanctuary, visitors can discover regional products and handcrafted gift ideas. The market takes place on selected weekends and public holidays from 10:30 am to 7:00 pm.

By public bus line:- 181 from Bolzano, Birchabruck
- 184 from Nova Levante, Carezza, Karerpass
- 184 from Deutschnofen, Obereggen, Eggen, Stenk and Petersberg
- 182 from Steinegg, Gummer to Ponte Nova, change 181 or 184
By car:
Brenner (A 22 Brenner motorway, toll) - motorway exit Bolzano Nord/Val d'Ega - then approx. 0.5 km in the direction of Bolzano at the roundabout, turn left into Val d'Ega (SS 241) and then continue on the long Dolomite road, in Birchabruck turn to the right and continue to Nova Ponente/Deutschnofen, Monte San Pietro (about 30 min. from highway toll booth).
