The Blues Night has been one of the musical highlights of Steinegg Live for many years. For the festival’s 30th anniversary, a very special evening awaits, bringing together the heritage of blues with the energy of contemporary blues-rock.

Climax Blues Band (GB) brings almost six decades of British blues history to Steinegg. Founded in 1968 by Colin Cooper and Pete Haycock, the band made its mark on the international music scene with its distinctive blend of blues, soul, rock and jazz. Hits such as “Couldn’t Get It Right” made them famous around the world. Today, the band continues its musical journey with fresh energy and new influences, while staying true to its roots.

Next up is Erja Lyytinen & Band (FI). The outstanding Finnish guitarist is one of the leading names in contemporary blues-rock. Virtuosic slide guitar, powerful riffs and an electrifying stage presence are her trademarks. In 2026, she celebrates her 50th birthday with a special European tour, bringing highlights from more than 20 years of her career to the stage alongside songs from her latest album, Smell the Roses.

Two generations, two musical worlds and one shared passion: the blues.
