Family hike from the Karerpass | Passo Costalunga to the Mitterleger | Radura di Mezzo and Latemar meadows

This family hike starts at the Karerpass | Passo Costalunga (1752 m) and leads on the path [21] first through meadows and then through forest to the Mitterleger | Radura di Mezzo (1839 m), from where you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Latemar. Returning back first follow again the path [21] and then at the next junction turn right onto the track [18]. After a steep climb, you reach path [18A], which leads flat across a meadow. After a short ascent, you reach the Latemar meadows and the Eggental | Val d'Ega mountain cinema (1861 m), which offers a wonderful view of the Rosengarten | Catinaccio and the Rotwand | Roda di Vael. Finally, path [17] takes you back to the starting point at the Karerpass | Passo Costalunga.
