The many farm animals and a great playground make this hike an unforgettable experience, especially for children. This leisurely family hike to the Stadl Alm hut, at the foot of the majestic Rosengarten | Catinaccio and Latemar peaks, is a must thanks to its breathtaking views of the Dolomites. For refreshment, both young and old can enjoy seasonal and farm-fresh products, hearty game dishes, and traditional South Tyrolean cuisine.
The hike starts at the Lake Carezza (Karer See | Lago di Carezza) parking lot (1,519 m). From there, the path goes through the underpass and then along the right side of the lake to the Templ path [8]. Follow the wide forest road [8] to the turnoff to the Stadl Alm hut. Continue on paths [25A] and [25] until you reach Stadl Alm, where a playground, petting zoo, and lawn area await both young and old (the hut is only open in summer).

Holders of the Mountain Pass can use 17 lifts in the heart of the Rosengarten, Latemar and Schlern/Sciliar any three or five days within a period of seven consecutive days.
