Family hike from the Karer Pass to the Mitterleger and the Latemar meadows

This family hike starts from the Karer Pass (1752 m) and first leads along path [21] over meadows and then through the forest to the Mitterleger (1839 m), from where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Latemar. For the way back, follow path [21] again and then turn right at the next junction onto path [18]. After a steep climb, you reach path [18A], which leads flat across a meadow. After a short climb, you reach the Latemar meadows and the Eggental mountain cinema (1861 m), which offers a magnificent view of the Rosengarten and the Rotwand. Finally, path [17] leads back to the starting point at the Karer Pass.
