Hike from Deutschnofen to the pilgrimage site Maria Weißenstein

The hike starts at the Bar Arche parking lot in Deutschnofen (1,350 m). From there, follow path [1] heading south, which gently leads through light forest and over meadows to the Laab Alm (1,648 m) – a popular place to stop with a beautiful view.

From Laab Alm, continue on path [1] to the Petersberger Leger Alm (1,770 m). It lies idyllically amidst alpine pastures and is a quiet place for a rest.

From the Petersberger Leger Alm, follow path [2], which gently descends through forest and over meadows to the destination: the pilgrimage site Maria Weißenstein (1,520 m) with its impressive baroque church.

The return route runs along the European long-distance path [E5], which leads back to the Bar Arche parking lot in Deutschnofen.
