The "Gaslschnöllen" in South Tyrol is an old tradition which shepherds used for communication and for driving cattle on alpine pastures. The crack of the whip made it possible to communicate even in poor visibility. A goasl consists of a stick, a leather cord and the "Schmitzel".
Holders of the Mountain Pass can use 17 lifts in the heart of the Rosengarten, Latemar and Schlern/Sciliar any three or five days within a period of seven consecutive days.
