Description

An evening of contrasts and sound colors: the overture to Carl Maria von Weber’s final opera Oberon leads into an exotic adventure. John Adams’ Shaker Loops brings the vibrant pulse of American minimalism. The program concludes with Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 1, Winter Dreams, an early masterpiece full of poetic atmosphere. Conducted by Hossein Pishkar and performed by the Haydn Orchestra of Bolzano and Trento.

Route

Take highway´s exit “Bolzano Nord/Eggental”, turn right direction Bolzano/Bozen, after about 0,5 km on roundabout keep left and head towards Val d’Ega (SS 241). Keep driving up to Ponte Nova. At Ponte Nova’s crossroads, turn to the right and continue to Deutschnofen | Nova Ponente (about 30 min. from highway toll booth).
