Val d'Ega

Trekking with llamas & alpacas in the Dolomites

Trekking with llamas & alpacas in South Tyrol’s Val d’Ega

The unusual hiking guides

Through the Dolomites – and well-guided - but not with the usual hiking guide, no! Those starting their exploration of the surroundings from the “Prennergut” farm in Nova Levante will be accompanied to the mountain realm by some very special chaps: they’ll walk with llamas and alpacas!

Through the Dolomites with llamas and alpacas

Across the meadows and through the forests, towards the Dolomites peaks, together with a four-legged backpack carrier. But not without getting to know the friendly animals first! And for those wanting to hear more, there are tips on how to take care of the furry creatures and plenty of interesting facts about their history and keeping. Trekking with llamas and alpacas in the Val d’Ega: a fantastic experience for little animal huggers and big adventurers – or vice versa!
