This hike from Welschnofen | Nova Levante leads along the historic "Herrensteig" trail to Lake Carezza, which is considered one of the most magnificent alpine lakes and is known above all for its deep green water and the beautiful mountain scenery in the background.
The lake, which lies at the foot of the Latemar, is covered in a white blanket of snow in winter.
The trail leads from the car park of the cable car in Welschnofen | Nova Levante on trail [7] and [7A] to the Hotel Adler and further on trail [10A] to the Lake Carezza. The way back is along the same path.
