Action Day in the Eggental valley
The day begins with a short walk to the Wiesbauerhof, just a few minutes from the Bio and Bike Hotel Steineggerhof. Here, Magdalena, the farmer of the farm, will provide fascinating insights into her work and the Eggental Taste Local project. Thomas Resch, coordinator of farmers for Eggental Taste Local, will also be present.
Following this, at the Steineggerhof, there will be a keynote presentation by Eggental Tourism and an introduction to the hotel’s philosophy by Lisa Resch. Sustainability is consistently practiced here: from 100% organic, partly vegan cuisine to the hotel’s own herb gardens and climate-neutral operations. The hotel is certified with the South Tyrol Sustainability Label Level 3, the highest award, and is considered a pioneer in sustainable tourism. The day concludes with a shared lunch and a visit to the permaculture garden.
The Action Day demonstrates how sustainability, regionality, and community are practiced in the Eggental.
