The destination is the secluded St. Agata chapel – a modest yet soulful little church perched on a small rise, surrounded by pure nature. In front of the chapel, there’s a peaceful spot to rest and take in the silence. Those wishing to step inside can borrow the key from a nearby farmhouse – a beautiful gesture of trust and hospitality.

The hike begins in the village center of Deutschnofen. From there, follow the Schloss Thurn road gently downhill and take trail [5], which leads through meadows and past traditional farms to the Oberkoflhof.
At the farm, turn right onto trail A, which brings you directly to the secluded St. Agata chapel. The chapel is usually closed, but the key can be borrowed at the nearby Unterkoflhof, just 10 minutes' walk away.
After a relaxing break at the peaceful spot in front of the chapel, continue to the Unterkoflhof. From there, a forest road leads you comfortably back to the village center, completing a pleasant circular hike.
