This rewarding snowshoe hike leads through the Karerwald forest with views of the Latemar. From Lake Karer, which is usually covered with ice and snow in winter but still retains its mystical charm, you go to the Mitterleger viewpoint, a nice small clearing in the forest where you can admire the Latemar up close.
