Wonderful hike through the Latemar forest with breathtaking views of the Rosengarten and Latemar.
This hike leads through the famous Latemar forest. At the "Radura di Mezzo" it is wonderful to linger, while at the mountain cinema on the Latemar meadows you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Dolomite mountain Catinaccio/ Rosengarten.

This family hike starts at the Passo Costalunga (1,752 m) and leads on the path [21] first through meadows and then through forest to the Radura di Mezzo (1,839 m), from where you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Latemar. Returning back first follow again the path [21] and then at the next junction turn right onto the track [18]. After a steep climb, you reach path [18A], which leads flat across a meadow. After a short ascent, you reach the Latemar meadows and the mountain cinema in Val d'Ega (1,861 m), which offers a wonderful view of the Catinaccio and the Roda di Vael. Finally, trail [17] takes you back to the starting point at Passo Costalunga.
